System composition
Defining the system components in order to know what is at available to reach the objectives.
Made with draw.io.
A system is composed of multiple nested systems.
A system can have multiple interactions.
This compose a simple abstract system, the advantage of using this representation framework is that each sub-system in the deepest can be visualized and improved.
It's like taking a bright and slightly elevated point of view, we can see things in a whole or in the deepest.
- When seeing things in the deepest, we can tune and optimize each little sub-systems and it's interactions one by one in order to make a significant improvement to the whole.
Example
Considering "system C" is have some malfunctions, it is possible to:
- Detail "system C", identify sub-system and interactions.
- Identify sub-system malfunctions.
- Add, remove or optimize some sub-systems and interactions.
It's like focusing on a car, identifying dysfunctioning car parts one-by-one, replacing or improving parts one-by-one, to make the car more efficient.
Implementation
From each of these point, an "Optimization strategy" can be defined, eventually using the "Planning strategies" tool.
